1988 V8 S10 new paint, engine, trans, everything!!

Well, I think I am just going to sell the S10. I was negotiating a deal on a Typhoon in trade for my Camaro but it looks like it will not happen. So, I think I'd rather keep the Camaro than the S10. Reason for selling? I have a Turbocharged Bravada, the V8 S10, a 4th gen Z28 vert, and a 4th gen Z28; too many toys.

Here is a little about the truck:

1988 S10 shortbed Red with red interior

Engine:
Sounds like a stock 350 to me internally
Performer RPM intake
Performer 600CFM electic choke carb
MSD Pro Billet distributor
Griffin radiator
Serpentine accessory drive
Ceramic Hedman headers (shorties)
chrome Edelbrock valve covers
chrome Edelbrock air cleaner with K&N element

Trans:
Turbo 350 built with shift kit
Stock converter

Rear:
7.5 with new posi unit (gov lock)
new 3.73 gears
New rear brakes and drums freshly turned

Body:
$2500 paint job and it looks like it.
All bolt heads shaved off front bumper
antenna shaved
93 GMC grille with the GMC shaved (correct core support)
Steel roll pan
LeBra tonneau cover
Zaino used since day 1

Underside and suspension:
Gas tank removed
Frame as new. Still black with only maybe a few tiny specs of rust
All new Energy Suspension body mounts (red)
All new Energy Suspension suspension bushings
New rear springs (3" drop, Bell Tech I think)
New front springs
Bell Tech 2" spindles
New brakes all around
New bearings all around
New, correct lowering, shocks
Underside is nearly show quality and is exceptional

Exhaust:
Hedman ceramic headers
2.5" dual exhaust with Flowmaster dual chamber mufflers
Exhaust is run down each side since the tank is out of the way

Interior:
Original but in excellent condition
Currently has grey bucket seats but I am looking for a correct colored set.
Tweed headliner
Tweed sun visors
Auto Meter sport comp 2 5/8" oil pressure and water temp (mounted under instrument cluster, could be nicer)
Auto meter cheapie tach mounted on column (could be nicer)
B&M Mega shifter (correct Light truck one with taller base)
Windows are tinted 20% sides and rear

Truck has a fuel cell. I think it is a 16 gallon but I am not sure. It has the correct GM resistance sending unit so the gauge still works on the dash. Speedo does not currently work as it is electronic and I have not had time to put a reluctor on the output shaft. Engine and trans have less than 5000 miles. The truck is not insanely fast to me. HOwever, I am comparing this to my Bravada with a turbo and 3.73's, my wife's Z28 vert with a cam, headers, gears, 3200 stall, etc, and my Z. The truck has been to the track once and driven down the track twice on that day. IT ran a 13.9; not terrible but definitely not scary.

Asking $8000 or will consider interesting trades.

Here is a pic of it a few weeks ago. I have since then tinted the side windows, polished the wheels and cleaned it up a bit. If you are interested, I can show you pics of every angle.

Looks sweet man, very clean! Good luck selling it.

How about some wheel and tire info?

Whoops.... Rear wheels are 15x8 Weld Drag Lites with 275/60/15 BFG DR's. Fronts are 15x7's with new BFG tires; I think they are 225/50/15's but I'll check for sure.
