well here we are, February 25th, 2004, wedding is over, just recouperating from that cost... hope to get to work on the truck soon though, junkyards have been of no help to me really, so I need to find somehow to work this out on the semi-cheap....

i keep looking at that as my desktop wallpaper on my laptop, makes me want to start working on it again, but have so many damn issues with it...

the list still stands as before, honestly havent driven it 500 miles since then..... in 4 months...

now the tranny is slipping as well, just a little from 2nd to 3rd, but slipping none the less... just hate all this maintenance before i get it running good again...

well, heres to inspiration!

going to start making up a list of things I need to get done so I can budget for them... I just ordered a new LMC catalog yesterday, so that should help some.

- Oil Change
- sand and re-primer (its gettin UGLY) - will do this soon
- find new bedside (*edit* just called Browns of 2 Rivers, they can get me shipped a new bedside whole Box for $350....)
- Door post fixed (around $250)
- Cabside fixed
- Tranny rebuild
- repad seats

- then the fun begins

Figuring i need a tranny rebuild, probably looking at $1500-$2000 for a rebuild, what about buying a rebuilt one from a shop?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2461011397

or

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2462604195

how does that look for around $1000 then install shouldnt be too much.

well th eoil change is done, might be going back and getting the tranny fluid flushed and the rear end fluid changed out as well too, just some basic maintenace...

talked to a mechanic today, hes going to be getting me a quote on a tranny rebuild...lookin around $1200 or so... so might be a good deal....

gonna call on the body work today

****, also just remembered that I need to worry about the registration as well, i think my registration is up because of some hitch with the DMV - get to go take care of that tomorrow.....

good luck with it man, i'm finding myself spending money on modifying my highrider and using the 88 for daily transportation. i have the wedding thing happening in sept. and i'm saving up for a $1500 welder so until then the 88 doesn't get much TLC
