How do you go about selecting that?!?! I'm used to the polygon lasso which take an dang year to get anything selected, (as well as detailed stuff like the 350 emblem on the front 1/4)....Any tips there?

ahhh i forgot to mention my selection... sometimes its thinking in reverse.

since i was only changing the reds, i selected the corner markers, then "inversed selection" now my selection is everything but the corner markers. didn't touch the emblems.

then under the hue/saturation the drop down of reds only messes with the reds, etc.

does that help?

i also forgot to mention. how i did the two tone....

i made a copy of my blk version and a copy of my gray version. then just cut out the middle of both. so my 2tone is 2 layers. gray top/bottom with cutout, and a solid blk truck layer underneath.

since they are exact copies, i just roughly followed the trim pieces. so there weren't any "exact" cuts needed.

and me with the poly lasso... i use it sooooo much its second nature. i could have that truck stripped into many parts in minutes.

start at one end, zoom in pretty good and start clicking. when you get to the edge of your image, press and hold the space bar. its the shortcut to the hand tool to move around the image. let go of the spacebar and you are still on the lasso.

also use shift(+)/alt(-) with the selection to add and subtract from your selection.

i just lassoed the top part then after that there was no red so i could just change the color of the whole thing without the lasso...very cool
